Jessica Biel's adorable updo looks effortless and it is. Lately we've seen a lot of celebs opting for a more casual look and Jessica is right on trend. The best part is nothing could be easier to style than a loose, messy bun.

Begin by creating lots of texture. You can either do some backcombing all over the head or mist on a product like Wella Professionals Ocean Spritz Beach Texture Hairspray and scrunch tresses. You could also try a combination of backcombing and spray depending on how sleek your hair is. Loads of texture will make the 'do look more interesting and make styling much easier.

Next, finger comb tresses back and pull up into a high ponytail. Remember not to use too much tension when pulling hair back--a little messiness and looseness is what we're going for. Then, backcomb the ponytail, twist and loosely wrap it around the hair elastic. To secure the bun, insert u-shaped hair pins. To finish the look, spritz on some hairspray.
