How Jennifer Aniston, Jessica Biel and More Celebs Are Decorating for Christmas

Jennifer Aniston and Jessica Biel prepare for the holidays.

Christmas is just around the corner, and residents of Tinseltown are busy picking out trees, unpacking ornaments, and stringing up lights. Despite their fabulous lifestyles, luxurious homes, and brimming bank accounts, some celebrities' holiday traditions are surprisingly down-to-earth and endearing. As we count down the days to December 25, here's a look at how some of Hollywood's biggest stars are getting in the Christmas spirit and decorating for the holidays.

Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux

Last weekend, Jennifer Aniston and Justin Theroux kicked off the holiday season by hosting a tree trimming party at their California home. The centerpiece of the evening's festivities was a 10-foot-tall Noble Fir Christmas tree that the former "Friends" star purchased for the occasion. A source at Mr. Greentrees in Beverly Hills commented on Aniston's selection, saying "she likes [her trees] really full and fluffy." No wonder she wanted help decorating!

Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder

"Vampire Diaries" costars Nina Dobrev and Ian Somerhalder were spotted shopping for a Christmas tree i! n Atlanta, Georgia. The cute couple, whose on-screen chemistry translated into real-life romance, were likely in the area for filming, since the nearby town of Covington doubles as the fictional Mystic Falls. The two were seen wandering through the rows of trees, with Nina pointing out some extra tall varieties while Ian looked on.

Miranda Lambert and Blake Shelton

In the December 3 issue of Us Weekly, Miranda Lambert opened up about how she and "Voice" mentor Blake Shelton prepare for Christmas. According to Miranda, "Blake likes to pick food out of a magazine for me to make. Last year it was gourmet mac 'n' cheese. It took me three hours!" The "Over You" singer also confessed that her hubby enjoys decorating their home for the holidays and getting in the Christmas spirit.

Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake

After the stress of planning a wedding, Jessica Biel and Justin Timberlake intend to relax this Christmas season. "We're pretty much going to do the same thing that we do every year," Biel said, "hang out with our family and just be mellow." The newlyweds do have some rather unique ornaments for their first tree. According to Biel, she used to "mutilate [her] Barbie dolls" by removing their heads and sticking them on Christmas lights; the "Playing for Keeps" star says her family still has - and uses - the "silly" heads she made as a kid.

Tori Spelling and Dean McDermott

As you might expect, craft guru Tori Spe! lling is ! into DIY Christmas decorations. Earlier this month, the hands-on mother of four tweeted, "On a train heading to a farm to cut down our own Christmas Tree! #DIYChristmas #ChristmasTreeFarm" and shared a picture of herself with daughter Stella. The 39-year-old appears to have bounced back from the birth of son Finn Davey, and she hasn't let her super-scary hospital stay slow her down. After picking out a tree, Spelling also shared her ideas for displaying holiday cards around the house.
