After Sofia Vergara posted about her tragic wardrobe malfunction just 20 minutes before she went on stage to collect her award at the Emmys 2012 where her Zuhair Murad dressed rip on the rear, we decided to look into more celeb fashion mishaps on the red carpet.

Fortunately, Sofia isn't the only star to have suffered an embarrassing fashion faux pas in recent weeks as Emma Watson revealed one of her nipples to the world when her pretty nude lace dress slipped to reveal a little more than we'd all bargained for.

But the former Burberry model still managed to pull off the look with ease as she carried on with her evening as if nothing had happened, and at least her dress was super cute.

Rob Kardashian's former squeeze and Cheetah girl Adrienne Bailon purposely stepped out of her house earlier this year to attend the Escape To Total Rewards in NYC wearing a see-through dress which showcased her lady parts without any panties on.

The embroidery on the back of the dress was the only thing protecting her modesty, but she didn't even wear a thong, and was left in tears after her dress blew up in the wind and exposed EVERYTHING. Cri! nge!

Celebs have also shown us that accidents happen whilst on the red carpet, for instance, when Madonna stepped on Jessica Biel's elegant, bridal inspired white gown at the Golden Globes 2012, causing quite an embarrassing scene in front of an array of paps and stars.

Other stars are just plain attention seekers, as ex Pussycat Doll Melanie Thornton tried to leap back into the limelight with one of the most awful dresses in red carpet history.

The golden lace frock horror was completely seethrough as Melanie fell into the trap of not wearing a bra for publicity, exposing her nipples to the entire world. Gross!

Micaela Schaefer also arrived onto the red carpet pretty much naked when she donned a shredded binbag which just about covered her private areas to the Men in Black 3 premiere, where she had her actual bum on full display!
