Jessica Biel: 'Kate Beckinsale Total Recall fight isn't overtly sexy'
In Total Recall, Biel plays a freedom fighter named Melina who teams up with factory worker Doug Quaid (Colin Farrell) to fight against their corrupt government. Beckinsale stars as Quaid's wife Lori.
Biel told W magazine on her fight scene with Beckinsale: "Fun - so fun! Our fight scene isn't overtly sexy - just two trained fighters who happen to be women kicking the s**t out of each other.
"It could be two dudes, but we just happened to have long hair and boobs and... other things."
The actress, who is reportedly engaged to Justin Timberlake, admitted that it is the first time she has fought with a girl in a movie.
"Kate and I usually fight men in movies, and when you knock into a man, he doesn't care," she said. "But every tw! o second s, Kate and I were saying, 'I'm so sorry - are you okay?'
"We were both so nervous about fighting another woman. Which is strange, because I have no problem fighting with a guy. In truth, I like doing anything that requires breaking a sweat."
The new Total Recall arrives in cinemas on August 3 in the US and August 22 in the UK.
