Jessica Biel is just not that "into fashion."

She's graced the cover of major fashion magazines, been the subject of countless style articles and modeled for Revlon and Lancome. She's also a regular knockout on the red carpet at events, so it's hard to believe that actress Jessica Biel is just not that "into fashion."

"On the red carpet, I'm playing a character," Biel told Vogue magazine. "As soon as I get off that thing ... I'm wiping and wiping and pulling my hair out and trying to change my outfit."

She may not particularly like playing dress-up, but there's no denying that she does it well. The actress, who can be seen in the how-many-stars-can-we-pack-into-one-movie "New Year's Eve," which will be out Dec. 9, recently made a chic appearance at the GQ "Men of the Year" bash held at the Chateau Marmont.

Biel walked the sleek black carpet in a three-quarter-sleeve black dress with silver embellishments from the Antonio Berardi resort 2012 collection. Her dress brought to mind the wardrobe of "Mad Men" character Joan Holloway Harris with its '60s silhouette of broad shoulders and a cinched waist. The look is classic, elegant and perfect for holiday dressing. Biel's messy bun, bright red lips and rosy cheeks added to the allure.

For a similar party frock, try the Gina dress by Motel for $76 from Topsho.com or the embellished sweater dress from Victoriassecret.com for $59.50.

Accessorize with a metallic clutch such as the Top Choice metallic snake print envelope clutch from Nordstrom.com for $22. Have some fun finishing the look with colored pumps. Biel chose a solid black pair, but a deep red or purple heel could add a warm, welcome pop of color. Try the Nine West Sweetgirl pump from Nordstrom.com for $44.90.

The weather is getting a bit chilly, so you'll need something stylish but warm for your holiday parties. Biel's dress style is sexy, without revealing too much skin ensuring that the wearer ! is both chic and cozy.
