Jessica Biel dons modern make-up

Jessica Biel's Total Recall premiere look was fresh with a "modern edge".

The actress wowed in a pastel pink strapless gown from the Christian Dior Fall 2012 collection at the Los Angeles premiere of the sci-fi action film. The simple style of the dress was made more interesting with the addition of oversized pockets woven into the sides.

Jessica's beauty look was just as stunning, with her make-up artist Kara Yoshimoto Bua revealing the inspiration behind the look.

"As a contrast to her modern, baby pink dress and chunky jewels, I created a fresh look with a modern edge," she explained. "Her skin texture is extremely natural-looking with soft cheeks and lip, while her eyes are slightly elongated."

Jessica's make-up was kept simple. Kara has explained how she creating the naturally glamorous aesthetic.

"Instead of creating a retro black hard line across her entire lash line, I opted to soften the look by placing Chanel Long-Lasting Waterproof Eyeliner in Grenat just on the outer and inner eye," she told Access Hollywood.

"I applied Chanel Inimitable Waterproof Mascara in Noir lightly to define eyelashes."

Jessica boasted a glowing complexion as she walked the red carpet. Kara revealed the star's stunning skin was the result of cleverly applied blush.

"I applied Chanel Powder Blush in Rose Ecrin to create soft looking cheeks," she added.
